About qrmake.dev
This site exists because I got tired of the alternatives.
Here's the situation: you need a QR code. Maybe for a business card, a restaurant menu, a link on a poster. It should take five seconds. Instead, you end up on some site that wants you to create an account, pick a plan, watch an ad, or accept that your data is being harvested so they can "personalize your experience." For a QR code.
Every "free" tool out there pulls the same tricks: tracking pixels, daily generation limits, watermarks on high-res downloads, upsells to "premium" tiers that cost more than they should for what is fundamentally a 30-year-old encoding format.
It's a QR code. It's not rocket science. It shouldn't require a subscription.
So I built this
qrmake.dev generates QR codes entirely in your browser. Your data never leaves your machine. There's no server processing your input, no database storing your codes, no account system, no analytics tracking what you encode. The page loads, you type something, you get a QR code. That's it.
What you get:
- Unlimited QR codes, no daily caps
- SVG and PNG downloads at any size
- Custom colors, error correction levels, all the options that matter
- 100% client-side—works offline after the first load
- No accounts, no sign-ups, no email harvesting
- No ads, no tracking, no paywalls
Who made this
One person who writes code and was fed up. That's all that matters.
